Art School Kids is a series I created while serving as a Resident Advisor at The New School. Each student in the dorms is provided with a bed, a set of drawers, a desk, and two walls to personalize for nine months. During room checks, I found it fascinating to observe how each student decorated their space—some filled their walls with art, while others kept it minimal. I began photographing the students in their spaces in 2014 and continued the project through 2016 until my graduation.
